Who's Who
Indie artistes
Indie is a way of thinking. Indie is a rebellion against any system that is governed by templates and/or whose primary motive is the creation of wealth for wealth’s sake. Indie is openness and purpose. Indie is imagining the unknown and venturing into the endless. FREE textual data is on offer for every indie artiste in any of the cinematic arts. Simply email (info.cinepaedia at gmail) your CV in this format along with an official ID, a selfie pic for validation, & strong evidence/citations for all claims.

Objective

Who is behind this? Someone who has quietly and silently been freely editing Wikipedia and IMDb pages since approx. the last 15 and 10 years, respectively, and who has created numerous Wikipedia pages, including that of National Film Awards winners, journalists, the Mahindra Blues Festival, and FICCI-Frames.
Cinepaedia is a Dalton | House of Illusions initiative aimed primarily at creating a database of EVERYONE—from veteran professionals and students to rank outsiders/strugglers/wannabes—in the creative arts.
Envisioned as a start-up, these are the initial pre-seeding days. Therefore, support of this encyclopaedia even in the littlest degree would be supreme.
What happens if and when an AI encyclopaedia web scrapes all the data from this site? That would be the day when the purpose of Cinepaedia is achieved. Because. Over 90 percent of the entries here are not on any other encyclopaedia, and this includes not just obscure people but also notable award-winning filmmakers, international film festivals, and organisations that have been around for close to half a century.
Photographs
You may use/reuse any of the photographs marked House of Illusions, sans prior permission. These are a handful selected from thousands of photographs that were clicked over the last one and a half decades at a variety of events, and a majority of them haven't as yet reached many of those who were photographed. Thus, if you chance to identify yourself or anyone you know personally, do immediately inform them of the COMPLETELY-FREE-OF-COST availability of the higher resolution version.
Other photographs, unless otherwise stated, may belong to the named entity but feel to use them under the fair usage policy.
Fraternity
Remember. When you study at a reputed film school or when your film plays at an important film festival, it is not an isolated event. You become part of a family for all of time. This list, along with another one, is being constantly updated. If you belong and don't find your name, simply fill in your details in this format and mail it across.
