Dinesh Shenoy is a monochromatic painter who studied from portrait artist late Joseph Newton. Some of his artworks are permanently displayed at the Arakkel Museum, Hortus Malabaricus Museum, Centre for Heritage Studies, Cochin Refineries, BSNL, Aspinwall, Malayala Manorama, Harbour View Residency, Cochin Club, Lotus Club, YMCA, Alappatt Arcades, and Brunton Boat Yard. He also runs the Chitrasala Art Gallery.

As a musician

He plays the western drums as a hobby. In his youth days, he performed along with a few friends—George Malayil on bass guitar, Beverly on rhythm guitar, and Baines Isaacs on lead guitar—at the Vasco Da Gama Square in Fort Cochin, as part of the annual Cochin Carnival celebrations.
