CS Venkiteswaran is a professor, film critic and documentary filmmaker. He’s the recipient of three National Film Awards—Best Film Critic, Best Book on Cinema (Special Mention), and Best Arts/Cultural Film; and three Kerala State film awards—Best Article on Cinema, Best Book on Cinema, and Best Documentary. He curates for various film festivals, and is also the former artistic director of the SiGNS Film Festival.
