Debajit Changmai is a re-recording mixer with membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is the winner of a National Film Award, three Assam State Film Awards, three International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) for Best Sound Mixing, an Apsara Producers Guild Film Awards, and the Assam Gaurav Award, the third highest civilian award by the Govt of Assam. Sam Bahadur, Kaabil, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiv, Gangubai Kathiawad, Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans, Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Court, Krrish 3, and Shootout at Wadal are some of the notable films that he sounded. He has also worked with Majid Majid in Beyond the Clouds (2017) and with Mira Nair in The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
