Beena Paul is a 2-time National Film Awards winning film editor, co-founder of the Women in Cinema Collective, former vice chairperson of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, former artistic director of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), and current director of programming for the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF).
She's the editor of G. Aravindan's The Seer Who Walks Alone (1985) and John Abraham's Amma Ariyan (1986).
