C. Umamaheswara Rao is a National Film Awards winning film director who works predominantly in the cinema of Telugu, founder/chairman of the Dadasaheb Phalke School of Film and Media (DPSFS), and chief patron of the Hyderabad International Short Film Festival (HISFF).
