Prashanti Talpankar

Prashanti Talpankar is an actor, academic, writer, and a Sahitya Akademi winning translator from Goa, India. She has acted in around 21 regional films across Konkani, Marathi, and Hindi cinema, with several of these films receiving National Awards. She's a Cancer Survivor (2017).

  • 2025 | Best Actor Award | for the short film 'Ancecao,' at the International Film Festival of South Asia
  • 2017 | Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize, for her Konkani translation of Shashi Deshpande’s 'That Long Silence.'
