Kerala State Chalachitra Academy
Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (Motion Picture Academy of Kerala State) was instituted by the Govt. of Kerala in 1998. On behalf of the Dept. of Cultural Affairs of the Govt. of Kerala, the organisation, among other things, publishes a monthly journal, conducts technical workshops and film appreciation camps for children, and hosts the Kerala State Film Awards, the Kerala State Television Awards, the JC Daniel Award, and the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) and the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK).
