Le Festival des Films Indiens de Toulouse
Le Festival des Films Indiens de Toulouse is held in Toulouse, Southern France, and is dedicated to the films of the Indian subcontinent outside of Paris. Initially promoted by an umbrella of several non-profit organisations under the banner ‘Indian Season’, the festival was rechristened to its present name in 2015. It was born from a will not only to publicize the Indian cinema to the French public but also to promote the city of Toulouse, its metropolitan area and the Occitanie region in India, and to achieve a better mutual understanding between France and India. The festival director is Vanessa Lien Bianci.
