Kiran KR is a filmmaker from Kerala, India, currently pursuing his post-graduation in Screenwriting and Direction at the KR Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from St. Thomas College, Thrissur, and has completed a one-year diploma in Film Direction from the New Wave Film School, Kozhikode. His latest short fiction film 'Kalavu' played at the Hyderabad International Short Film Festival (HISFF), in December 2025.
