International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) is a flagship initiative envisioned under the Delhi Film Policy, aimed at positioning Delhi as a vibrant global hub for cinema, cultural exchange, and storytelling. Conceived as an international celebration of films and filmmaking, IFFD seeks to spotlight cinematic excellence while fostering meaningful cultural and industry collaboration across borders. Organised by the Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation Ltd. (DTTDC) in association with the Government of Delhi, the festival is designed to elevate Delhi's profile on the global film map and contribute to the growth and diversification of the film and media ecosystem in the National Capital. IFFD is scheduled to be held in the National Capital Territory of Delhi every year, in the spring-summer months. The main festival venue is Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan. Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra is the Festival Director.
