Mumbai International Student Film Festival
The inaugural edition of the Mumbai International Student Film Festival (MISFF) was organised by Film Critics Circle of India and Cinema Society of India in association with, and at, KES Shroff College of Arts and Commerce, in December 2023, with Dalton as the festival director. The KES Shroff organising committee comprised Lily Bhushan, Sangeeta Unadkat, VS Kannan, Raavi Parihar Batra, Askhay Nair, Ashish Richhariya, & Ashima Syal.
The short fiction jury comprised Daniela Rogobete, Monita Borgohain, and Vijay Sharma. The documentary jury comprised Alvaro Turrion, Amartya Acharya, and Ratan Sil Sarma.
In addition to the film screenings, two panel discussions were conducted. The first one was on acting and had Arfi Lamba, Prashant Naik, Bijaya Jena, Zachary Coffin, and Akriti Singh as the panelists. The second one, on the personal vision of filmmakers, had Katharina Suckale, Kaurwakee Vasistha, Sharad Raj, Oorvazi Irani, Johnson Thomas, and Joy Bimal Roy as the panelists.
