Dalton is a film critic and music journalist who has served on the jury of the National Film Awards and MG University, and delivered lectures at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) and Guwahati University. He's on the advisory board of four festivals and is on the verge of completing his book ‘Relativity Theory of Indian Cinema.’
